The Urgency of Who You Are:
Four Pathways to Becoming More You
"All paths lead to the same goal: to convey to others what we are. And we must pass through solitude and difficulty, isolation and silence in order to reach forth to the enchanted place where we can dance our clumsy dance…” —Pablo Neruda (thanks to Brain Pickings blog for sharing!)
Each one of us carries within us a deep longing to understand ourselves. To figure out where we fit, to be affirmed for and believe in ourselves. To focus on what are we good at. To find the ways, times, and places where we expand into and live as our best self. We suffer when we don’t live from our authenticity, when we feel we don’t matter, don’t belong, don’t fit. We struggle with doubts, demons and distractions that take us far from our core calling and our best selves.
In this four part small group workshop we’ll explore the way your personal narrative shapes your longings, desires, and identity. We’ll meet four tragic figures who embody our doubts, demons, and distractions—those patterns that drain us of our unique strengths and identity. We’ll also meet four transformational characters who bring out the best in us so we thrive. Your own true story is the shortest distance between you and what you want. The Urgency of Who You Are invites you to become MORE You and claim your storied true self.
